I started to become fascinated to the show, "Gold Rush Alaska" on the Discovery Channel. At first, I was laughing at the poor, discouraged, displaced workers that turned to greed and going to the far extreme in discovering gold. And let it be videotaped on TV!
It was the 1800's again in 2011. These gold bars in the picture above is probably what the guys expected to find. It would be nice. I was cheering when they found $11,000 worth of gold on their last mining day of the season. Now, I can't wait until the next season series comes out!
The song, "I Wanna Be a Gold Digga" would go through my head and I would laugh more. Then I started thinking: if these guys can find their fame and fortune by following their dreams, where can I find my gold? What extremes have I gone through to achieve my dreams?
Fortunately, I would rather be at the mall, or working on my blogs in a coffee shop. Thanks to these guys, we can look up to their sacrifices and discovering new means of what to do with over $240,000 of invested equiptment. From the How To article, all we need are:
